Motorist must pay attention and adhere to overhead lane-use signals on US 50 and the Bay Bridge for the safety of traffic operations and motorist.
- Red X means lane is closed. Do not enter or travel in the lane.
- Yellow X means to vacate lane. Move to a lane with downward green arrow.
- Green arrow means lane is open for travel.

(I-895) Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Overnight Lane Closures for November 2 - 5, 2026 (
) - Note: Saturday, Oct. 31: I-895 traffic south of MD 295 (MM 1.1–MM 4.4) will experience periodic slowdowns and temporary holds between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. as police and maintenance vehicles reduce traffic speeds for BGE utility work. Northbound I-895 will be reduced to one lane in this area.
