Motorists Advised to Travel Off-Peak, Call 1-877-BAYSPAN (229-7726) for Current Traffic Conditions

Due to returning beach traffic from the July 4th holiday weekend, motorists should expect higher traffic volumes on the Bay Bridge, particularly the westbound span, on Sunday, July 7.

Weather permitting, the MDTA will implement two-way traffic operations to help alleviate delays and encourages motorists to share the road and to travel off-peak.  The best times to travel on Sunday are before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m.

For Statewide traffic conditions, visit md511.org.
